I just picked up a HH yesterday and have read in the past that you should plant it ASAP. I am going to NH from CT in 3 weeks and thought it would be a "HOOT" (name of HH) to plant it up in NH. Is 3 weeks too long to keep it? Your thoughts?

Can you contact the placer to see if that is ok with them? I have done that
in the past when transporting a HH out of state, especially if it will be a
few weeks. The response has always been positive.

Question: What is the best container(plastic, i.e. tupperware)for the box,
and is it advisable to ask those that find the box to leave their home
state?

Yes, particularly since it's the labor day weekend & there will be many
letterboxers out.
